Today they installed the remaining kitchen wall cabinets and put up half of the backsplash on one of the kitchen walls. It looks great and I can't wait to store all of my food in the new cabinets.
In other news, the contractor opened the refrigerator box and found that the top edge of the refrigerator was dented. Mom called the store where we bought it and they're going to pick it up and send a replacement next week. Phew! The refrigerator is very important to me. It holds my most prized possessions and we have to make sure its ok!
Regarding the chandelier problem that I blogged about yesterday, Mom and Dad haven't made any decisions yet. They're waiting for the cabinet doors to be put on so that they can see the exact size requirements of its replacement. We'll keep you updated!
